Dr. Okun and Dr. Foote can place DBS devices in an operating room setting utilizing advanced brain imaging, stereotactic targeting, microelectrode recording, and macrostimulation. The stimulation interferes with the overactive portions of the brain that cause the tremors associated with PD.
