Bruce Crosson, Ph.D., a professor of clinical and health psychology, received a Senior Research Career Scientist award from the Department of Veterans Affairs Rehabilitation Research and Development Service. He also received a contract for a two-year, multicenter study on Gulf War illness that will bring $905,000 to UF. In addition, he was recently re-appointed as an honorary professor at the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia. Honorary professorships are awarded to internationally renowned individuals to facilitate scientific communication and collaboration.
