Cami coordinates clinical trials research in patients with Parkinson’s disease for the physicians at the Movement Disorders Center, performing a combination of clinical and administrative roles. Administrative responsibilities include maintaining the appropriate documentation required for research studies and communicating closely with the various participants in clinical trials research, including patients, healthcare providers, internal and external regulatory groups, and pharmaceutical companies. She also enjoys the opportunity to work closely with patients by coordinating study visits, providing patient and family education regarding clinical trials, and conducting research evaluations.
Cami is working on variety of trials including early Parkinson’s Disease trials, a study on night-time hallucinations in PD and a wearing off of medications study.
